Imation Announces IronKey S1000 USB 3.0 Flash Drive
Imation Corp., a global data storage and information security company, today announced the addition of the IronKey S1000 USB 3.0 Flash Drive to its IronKey product line. The S1000 builds upon IronKey’s history of providing the world’s most secure USB storage devices, offering customers a choice between IronKey’s industry-leading USB 2.0 devices as well as the high-performance USB 3.0 solutions. The S1000 protects files with Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) 140-2 Level 31 and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)-approved XTS-AES 256-bit encryption, ensuring compliance with the most stringent government and industry regulations while allowing workers to remain mobile.
IronKey offers double the performance of competing hardware-encrypted USB 3.0 SuperSpeed flash drives and has increased the capacity of its secure storage flash drives to 128GB, enabling users to store and retrieve the most data-intensive files quickly and easily, thus increasing user productivity. The S1000 is backed by an industry-leading lifetime warranty and is available in two versions for maximum flexibility: IronKey Basic S1000 and the centrally managed IronKey Enterprise S1000.
