Delivering a complete home and small business cloud storage solution, the D-Link Cloud Storage 2000 enables users to remotely and locally download and upload files, delete files and folders from their storage device, and access files stored on their ShareCenter® from any computer via the mydlink.com portal. Plus, with a free app for iPad®, iPhone® and Android™ devices, users can now easily view photos, and stream music and videos from their ShareCenter directly to mobile devices from anywhere in the world.

The StorCenter px12-450r features the new Intel Xeon Processor E3-1200 v2 Product Family, 8GB RAM, improved user supportability and the option of 4TB hard disk drives (HDD). Additionally, the StorCenter px12-450r utilizes the latest version of the EMC® LifeLine software, an advanced operating system that makes EMC¹s enterprise class expertise and cloud capabilities available to a broad range of users.
The new StorCenter px12-450r Network Storage Array is designed for advanced functions including deduplication, VDI, database and storage-based applications. Examples of emerging applications include video management systems (VMS) for surveillance and McAfee VirusScan Enterprise running natively on the storage.

Synology Inc. today launched the new DX213, Synology’s first 2-bay DiskStation expansion solution that satisfies the growth of storage demand from business and power users.
“Managing and handling the increasing amount of data should not take time away from running a business. Therefore, Synology designed the DX213 to help users quickly and effortlessly expand DiskStation storage by an additional two bays when it reaches its maximum capacity,” said Chad Jiang, product manager at Synology Inc.
On selected DiskStation models, RAID volumes can be expanded directly across DX213 without the hassle of reformatting existing hard drives, bringing the additional benefit of continuous service uptime throughout this process. Users also have the freedom to create DX213 as an independent volume for the paired DiskStation. As such, DX213 can function as an effortless local backup solution.
